Leo is a brilliant trainer and a lovely guy. He always pushes me to improve but is never shouty: his style is to convince me that I can do stuff and be super-encouraging, and it works. His attention to form means I feel confident that I'm moving efficiently and safely. Plus he makes me laugh, plays great music and, best of all, helps me get grounded again when I'm feeling frazzled or collapsing in a teary heap. The Strength Shed has all the kit you could need, is toasty in the winter and cool in the summer and comes complete with pics of a weightlifting Judi Dench. What more could you possibly want?

What to say about Leo and his mighty shed. It's fair to say he was an excellent trainer already without the shed, but having this private little PT studio has been awesome for progress. The shed is super well kitted out, ready for indoor or outdoor workouts. Straight cardio is covered by a SkiErg (my personal nemesis) and everything else comes out of the brain of the man himself. I've been training with Leo since COVID kicked off and I've never been stronger, or more confident in my body's ability to do what I ask of it. If you're looking for a good laugh, good programs and an all-round good bloke, Leo is your man.

Leo listens carefully to your goals and builds workout plans that help you achieve them. In the gym he constantly tests your ability and adapts both the weight and the exercise to ensure the programming is fresh, interesting and results based. Leo records everything to ensure progress is charted and sessions are optimum and he regularly checks in and requests feedback to ensure you and he have the right focus and maximise your session time. The Strength Shed is a well equipped zen-like space to focus on your workout. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are also some cracking tunes. Leo manages to make the whole process fun and relaxing, even when he is pushing you (which he does with undivided attention all the time). And finally, which other PT out there offers your freshly picked strawberries from the garden while you workout!? 1 million percent recommend.

Leo is a brilliant, innovative and dynamic trainer who makes getting stronger and fitter so much fun. I’d previously found a lot of gyms fixated on diet culture and thinness which was the opposite of what I was after, so his passion for functional strength as a way of achieving overall health and wellbeing is really inspiring The shed is well equipped with the added bonus of a garden view (complete with vegetable patch) - much better than a big indoor gym in my view!

Leo is a superb PT. He listened to my goals and has created an amazing programme for me which is still ongoing. I could barely lift a bag of sugar without fear of putting my back out but now I'm stronger than I ever have been and can push myself so much further thanks to his help. Brilliant and patient tutoring, great attitude, fantastic set up in Peckham, made me feel very welcome indeed. I'm not usually the gym type but he made everything very understandable with his knowledge and expertise.

Leo is an absolutely fantastic trainer. He really puts you at ease and makes it really fun to work out. He is really mindful of how you might be feeling during training and is always helpful and supportive in between sessions.
I lost over 10 kilos for my wedding during my programme and its something that I will always be glad I made the effort to do. Not your average PT - if you are looking for someone that will go the extra mile - Leo is your guy! He is very thorough as a PT he pays close attention to any previous routine you might have and particular goals you want to work towards. His attention to detail when looking at your technique is second to none. He’s also great fun and always puts you at ease. It makes it so much easier to get up at 6am!

Leo is a great motivator, he knows exactly what he's talking about when it comes to technique and form and really makes sure you’re doing things safely. He also has the funkiest workout playlists to keep you going! I started with little-to-no experience. Thanks to him I'm much more confident - both about myself and my technique. Leo’s holistic approach to health and fitness had such a positive transformative impact on my life. Before I met Leo, at five foot four inches and 97 kilos, I didn’t need a professional to let me know that I was drastically overweight and that I needed to make some life changes.
And that’s where Leo stepped in with his fresh knowledge and unique skill base. He took the time to understand me as a person and create challenges that both inspire and challenge me. For example, Leo picked up on the fact that I thrive in competitive atmospheres. He now sets up every exercise as a competition against myself. Each session we strive to outlast and outperform the previous. It’s been monumental to not only motivate me to do my best in the specific exercises, but also to motivate me to stay on track with the program. That’s not to say that the program isn’t varied and fun. From boxing, to HIIT, to dance, and everything in between, I know I can count on Leo to stay relevant.
But, his exercise regimen isn’t where his creativity stops. He’s a whiz in the kitchen too. He helped me find healthy alternatives to all my favorite foods. Not the gimmicky overpriced ones that really just sell brand. Rather, the kind that make you feel genuinely good after you eat them. He’s also introduced some great new additions that only someone as keenly conscious of nutrition as Leo would be able to introduce.
Leo’s guidance led me to losing a kilo a week and a whole host of stomach issues. That’s been brilliant, but that’s the stuff I was expecting. I’ve also simultaneously received some un-bargained-for benefits. I’ve a renewed sense of confidence, a lot more energy, and I sleep much more soundly at night. I can’t recommend Leo enough.
