What are the different types of strength training on offer at the Shed?
With so much conflicting information out there, choosing the right training style can get confusing. Whether it’s sport-specific work or a blend of different methods you need, here’s a breakdown of some of the coaching and training options on offer.
powerlifting
Get coached to lift big, properly. We focus on squat, bench, and deadlift technique, smart loading, and measurable strength progress. All with the ultimate goal of achieving your highest 1 Rep max. Built for anyone who wants stronger numbers without sacrificing movement quality.
olympic weightlifting
Learn the snatch and clean & jerk without the guesswork. Working to refine timing and positions, and build strength that transfers to power and performance in life and other sports.
Functional Fitness/Crossfit
Movement that carries over to real training and real life. Improve lift mechanics, work capacity, and movement efficiency across mixed modalities including gymnastics weightlifting and cardio conditioning. Work on progressions that keep you strong, adaptable, and ready for anything life throws at you.
Kettlebell training
Positional strength, grip, core control, and power all rolled into one lump of metal. Swings, cleans, presses, carries, and movement flows. Building strength, stability, and power that transfer to sport, and lifting performance.

2:1 PT – 10 Session Pack £850.
