My Approach

Quality of Movement: Building a strong foundation of safe and effective movement to minimise injury risk, all before increasing intensity.

Training together at The Strength Shed, we will focus on more than just lifting heavier weights. We’ll prioritise better movement, improved mobility, and strengthening mindset for overall better lifting.

Quality of Lifestyle: Analysing your nutrition and overall lifestyle, we work with your routine outside the gym, making small, manageable changes. This helps to positively rewire daily habits, creating long-term, consistent results, without feeling overwhelmed.

Improve your strength technique and confidence

  • Leo is a brilliant, innovative and dynamic trainer who makes getting stronger and fitter so much fun. I’d previously found a lot of gyms fixated on diet culture and thinness which was the opposite of what I was after, so his passion for functional strength as a way of achieving overall health and wellbeing is really inspiring The shed is well equipped with the added bonus of a garden view (complete with vegetable patch) - much better than a big indoor gym in my view!

  • “Leo listens carefully to your goals and builds workout plans that help you achieve them. In the gym he constantly tests your ability and adapts both the weight and the exercise to ensure the programming is fresh, interesting and results based. Leo records everything to ensure progress is charted and sessions are optimum and he regularly checks in and requests feedback to ensure you and he have the right focus and maximise your session time.”

    Sarah

  • Training with Leo has been huge for me, pun intended. He’s got heaps of knowledge but he's also relaxed and easy to talk to. I’d been stuck for a while coming back from an injury, not really progressing at the rate I wanted to. Leo helped me work around the injury, and now it doesn't hold me back at all.

    Oli

  • Leo's great at creating a training plan that fits your specific goals. He's encouraging and patient, whilst also pushing you that wee bit further. I started to notice definition in my back, abs and arms after just a few sessions.

    Becky

  • Leo as always is committed to getting me stronger in a way I'd never be able to manage alone. This is not a cheap way to get strong, but if you want a great dude to put a powerful focus on you and help you achieve when you're not sure you can; this man is a hero. I've been training with Leo since COVID kicked off and I've never been stronger, or more confident in my body's ability to do what I ask of it. If you're looking for a good laugh, good programs and an all-round good bloke, Leo is your man.
