The Strength Shed is a strength training space, for those who are serious about learning new skills, refining their technique and getting strong in a more private setting.

From humble beginnings as a gazebo keeping us dry during winter lockdowns, I realised how client progress and focus was improved away from the distractions of a busy gym.

The Strength Shed has since evolved into a heated private personal training studio, equipped with a wide selection of functional strength equipment for all your strength training needs. Lovingly overlooked by our mascot Judi Hench.

  • Not your average PT - if you are looking for someone that will go the extra mile - Leo is your guy! He is very thorough as a PT he pays close attention to any previous routine you might have and particular goals you want to work towards. His attention to detail when looking at your technique is second to none. He’s also great fun and always puts you at ease. It makes it so much easier to get up at 6am!

    What to say about Leo and his mighty shed. It's fair to say he was an excellent trainer already without the shed, but having this private little PT studio has been awesome for progress.

    The shed is super well kitted out, ready for indoor or outdoor workouts. Straight cardio is covered by a SkiErg (my personal nemesis) and everything else comes out of the brain of the man himself.

    Leo listens carefully to your goals and builds workout plans that help you achieve them. In the gym he constantly tests your ability and adapts both the weight and the exercise to ensure the programming is fresh, interesting and results based. Leo records everything to ensure progress is charted and sessions are optimum and he regularly checks in and requests feedback to ensure you and he have the right focus and maximise your session time.

    The Strength Shed is a well equipped zen-like space to focus on your workout. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are also some cracking tunes.

    Leo manages to make the whole process fun and relaxing, even when he is pushing you (which he does with undivided attention all the time).
